The following Sina Weibo post calling for the release of former ousted Party leader Bó Xīlái (薄熙来) was deleted sometime before 1:48 pm yesterday, May 19, 2013. [More on deleted posts at the WeiboScope Search, by the Journalism and Media Studies Centre].
The image accompanying the post shows two children looking at a red poster held by a group of Chinese protesters. White characters on the image read: “Give me back Bó Xīlái!”


One of the Sina Weibo users reposting the image writes: “These two kids are really cute. Let us together support Bó Xīlái!”. Another user writes: “Free him!”.

NOTE: All posts to The Anti-Social List are listed as “permission denied” in the Sina Weibo API, which means they were deleted by Weibo managers, not by users themselves.

The following post by “In the Storm – Seeking ia” (–风雨中–追随-ia), a user with more than 1,300 followers on Sina Weibo, was deleted from Weibo today, July 3, 2014, at 8:25 am. [See more deleted posts at the WeiboScope Search, by the Journalism and Media Studies Centre].
The post, which includes an image of jailed former Chóngqìng party chief Bó Xīlái (薄熙来) and a message reading “Happy Birthday!” says:
Today is your birthday. The people stand with you! [heart] [birthday cake] [heart]

Bó Xīlái, the “princeling” son of Bó Yībō, one of the Chinese Communist Party’s “eight immortals”. Bó Xīlái was born on July 3, 1949.

Wáng Èrlèng ha maniere non comuni, perfino al telefono ha uno stile originale: innanzitutto accende una sigaretta; finché non si consuma fino al labbro resta pendula all’angolo della bocca; la cenere cade liberamente sul vestito, sui pantaloni, senza che mai lui se la levi. Capita anche che il vestito si bruci senza che lui se ne curi; un bello stile. Con la sigaretta tra le labbra, la bocca un po’ storta, parla sempre in modo poco limpido. Ma ben ti sta! Wáng Èrlèng sarà pure libero di non scandire chiaramente le parole, o no?
Anche il modo di comporre un numero di telefono non è banale: non usa il dito ma la punta di una matita. Crede fermamente che la matita abbia una sua sensibilità e sia flessibile ed affidabile come un dito. Confida a tal punto nella sua matita che mentre digita un numero guarda il calendario o qualche appunto appeso. Non solo gli occhi guardano altrove, ma pretende anche di chiacchierare con altre persone, per cui di sicuro chiama il numero sbagliato. Sbaglia numero e richiama, sbaglia numero e richiama, e già che c’è litiga con chi risponde. Ma guardate come è indaffarato Èrlèng, finita una telefonata non ha certo finito di telefonare!
Dopo aver sbagliato per otto volte, i modi di Wáng Èrlèng si fanno ancor più grandiosi: d’ora in poi tiene il cappello ben calcato, si impettisce e la cenere caduta ne approfitta per scivolare via furtivamente. Prende una decisione, inaspettatamente non riguarda te, ma come prendere la linea se non riesce a prenderla! Non guarda neanche il calendario, ma si sistema per ben contemplare il soffitto.
“Pronto? Maestro Wú? Sei tu? ... Cosa? Cerco il Maestro Wú! ... Non c’è? Maledetti! ... Cosa? Controllare il numero? Smettila di dire sciocchezze! Come è possibile che non si possa fare nemmeno una telefonata? Chi sono io? Da dove? Fatti gli affari tuoi!”. Sbam, sbattuta giù la cornetta, aggiunge: “Troppo scortese!”.
“Pronto? Maestro Wú? Sei... Cosa? Cosa? Nono dipartimento dei Vigili del Fuoco? Ma qui non c’è nessun incendio!”.
“Èrlèng, al fuoco!”, urla un collega.
“Dove ha preso fuoco? Dove? Pronto, nono, aspettate un attimo! Aspettate un attimo! ... Qui!”. Mentre chiede a squarciagola ai Vigili del Fuoco di aspettare un attimo, Èrlèng sbatacchia un documento sul tavolo, appena bruciacchiato dal mozzicone di sigaretta caduto dall’angolo della bocca. “Pronto, pronto! Tutto bene! È un fuocherello, un buco in un documento, non importa!”. Èrlèng è orgoglioso di sé e con modi al cento per cento da educazione universitaria: “Bene, aver sbagliato numero ha portato un vantaggio! Se scoppiassero 10.000 veri incendi, i Vigili del Fuoco accorrerebbero di sicuro subito, ah ah ah!”.
Si accende un’altra sigaretta e getta con noncuranza il fiammifero nel cestino della carta. “Pronto, Maestro Wú? Sei... Chiedi dove? Cerco il Maestro Wú! ... Come, sei di nuovo tu? Ma che combinazione! ... Parla con un po’ di cortesia! È la morale del socialismo, desiderare di aiutare gli altri, capito? Umf!”.
La matita di Èrlèng è di nuovo ben piantata nel disco del telefono. Un suo collega gli dice:
“Èrlèng, devo proprio regalarti un dàzìbào!”.
“E ora per cosa mi critichi?”.
“Te lo dovresti immaginare da solo! Ogni giorno quanto tempo sprechi a disturbare il lavoro delle persone, eh? Occupi la linea dei Vigili del Fuoco, forse ci potrebbe essere davvero un incendio, un minuto di ritardo e sai che danni! Potresti anche incappare in qualcuno che scrive...”.
“E quando mai una simile coincidenza!”.
“Tu ritieni che tutti debbano riverirti, condividere i tuoi scherzi molesti?”.
“Pronto, Maestro Wú? ... No? ... Tu sei uno scrittore? ... Ho interrotto il filo dei tuoi pensieri, forse mezza giornata non ti basta... e quindi riaggancia subito! Che cosa aspetti!”. Èrlèng si considera molto spiritoso e apostrofa il collega che voleva scrivere il dàzìbào: “Che coincidenza, sono probabilmente incappato davvero in uno scrittore...”. “Esce del fumo!”, grida qualcuno. “Il cestino della carta!”.
“Èrlèng, chiama i Vigili del Fuoco!”.
“Non mi ricordo il numero, per l’appunto questa volta è stato proprio un caso!”.
Èrlèng scuote leggermente il cestino... Uno stile grandioso.

Re8 (threatening 31. Qa4-a3!/Qa3-b4!) would have won. After 30. ... g5 (30. ... g6 31. Qa3! mates) 31. R8e5! (not 31. Qa3 this time, because after 31. ... Rxe8 32. Rxe8+ Kg7 33. Prato, Valerio Barberis promette: “Rivolterò la città come un calzino”
L’assessore all’Urbanistica spiega la nuova pianificazione: artisti in Chinatown, nuovo asse della cultura e il percorso pedonale dei musei

PRATO. Il Macrolotto zero, la Chinatown pratese, piena di artisti e con più collegamenti tra strade e piazza; il centro della città che si espande fino ad arrivare a nord al Fabbricone, a ovest a piazzale Ebensee e a est alla stazione; Prato divisa per aree omogenee: la città che si sviluppa in alto, che cresce anche dal punto di vista dell’industriale del futuro, è lungo l’asse della Declassata; la città storica, dell’arte, della cultura ha un nuovo asse: da via Santa Chiara nei pressi del Museo del Tessuto e associazione culturale dopo associazione culturale (Spazio K e Spazio Compost) arriva fino all’area del Vecchio ospedale, al San Niccolò e anche oltre, fino alla Corte di via Genova, diventata sede di atelier, spazi espositivi gallerie d’arte.
È “l’altra” visione urbanistica di Prato, quella del nuovo assessore Valerio Barberis (delega anche ai Lavori pubblici), architetto, appassionato di Prato. Lui la chiama “pianificazione”, “scelte strategiche da sviluppare in cinque anni”, per chi è a digiuno di urbanistica sembra l’annuncio di una sterzata netta, una sorta di “ecco come si rivolta la città come un calzino”.
Pochi capisaldi: visione d’insieme della città, riuso spinto degli edifici dismessi, sinergia stretta con la Mobilità (assessore Filippo Alessi) “perché le trasformazioni future – dice Barberis – andranno di pari passo con la nuova formula di circolazione che è allo studio”: più bici, meno auto, centro meno permeabile ai mezzi a motore e non usato come attraversamento e Piano strutturale targato giunta Cenni da tenere così com’è: “C’è da cambiare la città, non il Piano strutturale che tra l’altro – è il giudizio di Barberis – è piuttosto neutro”.

E per far diventare Prato una città europea “perché le chances le ha tutte”, allora avanti con la sfida più difficile: il Macrolotto zero. “Quello che stiamo facendo in queste settimane – spiega l’assessore – è semplice: facciamo incontrare la domanda e l’offerta”. Banale? Non proprio: “Abbiamo avuto la richiesta da parte di giovani artisti di spazi a poco prezzo. Di capannoni vuoti nel Macrolotto Zero ce ne sono tanti quindi stiamo chiamando i proprietari, ai quali conviene metter a frutto il bene, per vedere se si arriva a conclusione”. L’obiettivo è chiaro: “Mescolare, cominciare a immettere nuovi residenti in quell’area ad alta densità cinese – dice – ma anche ad alto interesse”. Non solo però, il progetto “minimo perché lo vogliamo realizzare e non solo raccontare” puntualizza Barberis prevede nuovi collegamenti tra strade e piazze: “Useremo quella che in gergo si chiama urbanistica della crisi: piccoli interventi a costo basso ma efficaci come l’abbattimento di muri che chiudono le strade ma aprendo i quali il Macrolotto zero diventa più permeabile”.
Chinatown più “porosa”, centro storico più pedonale. L’idea è proprio quella: “Aver una visione unitaria del centro – afferma Barberis – che ancora non ha, omogeneizzando per esempio, gli arredi urbani e la cartellonistica, ma creando anche – prosegue – un percorso pedonale vero”.

E sarà quello “dei musei” cittadini: da piazza della Carceri, attraverso piazza Comune per arrivare a piazza del Duomo. “C’è da decidere e la proposta la rivolgo alle associazioni di commercianti, se il centro storico di Prato deve o meno diventare un centro commerciale naturale. Se è questo l’obiettivo – prosegue – bisogna sfatare dei tabù: che si debba arrivare davanti al negozio con la macchina e che non ci sia spazio anche per piccoli supermercatini che ormai esistono dappertutto, in Italia e in Europa”.
“Il tema delle auto – dice Barberis – va visto con buon senso” dunque nessuna misura punitiva ma piccoli passi anche in piazza Mercatale: “Che certamente dovrà presentarsi con molte meno auto parcheggiate rispetto a ora”. Dove metterle? “Io qualche idea ce l’ho ma è con Alessi che studieremo un nuovo piano dei parcheggi&à8221;. Una delle soluzioni, la più plausibili, resta l’area del Mercato Nuovo.

E sempre con l’idea di dare coerenza alle aree strategiche di Prato, si arriva al vecchio ospedale: “Per il quale, prima di ogni decisione – afferma l’assessore – c’è da risolvere la questione aperta con la Regione: l’area deve diventare nostra, poi ne progetteremo l’uso”. La Regione vuole un pacchetto di milioni: 20, 25 il Comune li darà all’ente attraverso la cessione di immobili comunale e non solo. “Stiamo lavorando – conclude Barberis – per trovare la quadra”.
