On the morning of Friday, August 10, 2018 the 潍坊 (Wéifāng) Municipal People’s Government Press Office held a press conference to present the 3rd World Cadet U8, U10, U12 Chess Championship, which, for the first time in history, will take place in China, namely in 潍坊 (Wéifāng), 山东省 (Shāndōng province), from late July to early August 2019. The presentation, conducted by most chess officials – such as the Chinese Chess Association’s Delegate & Vice General Secretary 田红卫 (Tián Hóngwèi) (pictured above, centre) – and municipal authorities, was exceptionally attended by two brand ambassadors: Grandmaster 卜祥志 (Bǔ Xiángzhì) (pictured above, left) and 17th Women’s World Chess Champion 居文君 (Jū Wénjūn) (pictured above, right).
