Hurry Up and Slow Down

Mr. Mauro Berni (Genoa, Italy) sent me a game from the 25th Italian Chess Championship (Naples, 20-30 August 1964), which was originally published in Fiorentino Palmiotto’s book “Alberto Giustolisi”, Bologna, 1995, p. 53.

  1. Perché "cosiddetta 'Federazione Scacchistica Italiana'"?
    Come dovrebbe chiamarsi secondo te?

Questa mia curiosità mi fornisce l'occasione per farti i complimenti per l'ottimo sito!

  2. IN POSTUMUM

Non dicam, licet usque me rogetis,
qui sit Postumus in meo libello,
non dicam: quid enim mihi necesse est
    has offendere basiationes,
quae se tam bene vindicare possunt?

    SU POSTUMO

Non dico – avete voglia a domandarlo –
quale Postumo sia quello ch’io canto.
No, non lo dico. Che bisogno c’è
    d’offender certi baci
che si posson poi vendicar sì bene?
