The Spider Mickey Adams goes through to Round Four after another very intense, exhausting series of wargames against Cuban Grandmaster Leinier Domínguez Pérez. He will face Hikaru Nakamura, who beated Ian Aleksandrovich Nepomniachtchi in a melodramatic Armageddon – in which American Grandmaster castled with both hands! Naturally, Nepomniachtchi appealed, but his complaint was rejected.
