The Scholastic Chess Championship started yesterday at the Volter Hotel in Lviv, involving about 250 students from town as well as from other cities of Ukraine. All young participants have been welcomed by Ukrainian chess superstars Mariya Muzychuk – current Women’s World Champion – her sister Anna, and Andrei Volokitin – current Ukrainian Chess Champion.
