The awards ceremony “Person of the Year 2015” will be held at the National Palace of Arts “Ukraina” in Kiev, Ukraine, on March 26, 2016. The list of awards nominees also includes 15th Women’s World Chess Champion Mariya Muzychuk, nominated in the category “Sportsperson of the Year” together with Greco-Roman Wrestling World Champion Jean Belenyuk, and Modern Pentathlon World Champion Paul Tymoshenko. On the other side of the world, instead, the “CCTV Sports Personality Awards of Year 2015” awards ceremony will be held at the Bird’s Nest (鸟巢) – idem to say 北京 (Běijīng) National Stadium – in 北京 (Běijīng), China, on January 24, 2016. The list of awards nominees usually includes the three-times Women’s World Chess Champion 侯逸凡 (Hóu Yìfán), nominated in the category “Best Non-Olympic Sportsperson of the Year”, together with 东丽 (Dōng Lì), 古力 (Gǔ Lì), 熊朝忠 (Xióng Cháozhōng), and 钟齐鑫 (Zhōng Qíxīn). It should be noted that 侯逸凡 (Hóu Yìfán) was awarded already in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 with the title of “Best Non-Olympic Sportsperson of the Year”.
