外港客运码头 (Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal)

Immediately following the three-day tour in 香港 (Hong Kong), the Chinese Olympic sports delegation of Sixty-Fours arrived in 澳门 (Macau) on Monday afternoon for a four-day visit, enthusiastically welcomed by hundreds of admirers outside the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal. At the evening welcoming banquet 崔世安 (Fernando Chui Sai On), current Chief Executive of 澳门 (Macau), presented a 14-million-pataca cheque (over €1,500,000 €uros) to the delegation. The government said last week that the money prize was collected among local residents, enterpreneurs and companies, and that the administration was only a “bridge” between the Macanese society and the Olympic stars. Needless to say, all of the Sixty-Fours woke up in a very good mood today, and in the afternoon they paid a visit to the Ruins of St. Paul’s, where a group picture was clearly called for. Once again the irresistible storyswimmer 傅园慧 (Fù Yuánhuì) skillfully seized the time to come first into the limelight! Photo: sports.sina.com.cn.

Yes, she came first, but just because the Golden Diving Duo of the Rio Olympics 施廷懋 (Shī Tíngmào) (L.) & 吴敏霞 (Wú Mǐnxiá) decided to let her take the lead. Photo: sports.le.com.

And in remembering the last “Divine Flight” of the Diving Queen 吴敏霞 (Wú Mǐnxiá) at Victoria Park Swimming Pool in 香港 (Hong Kong), we cannot but understand why God created woman. Photo: Felix Wong.
