Well, don’t think I forgot chess! In last two days I’ve been seriously committed to organizing the Associazione Culturale “Il Delta della Luna”’s participation in tomorrow’s Festa dello Sport at the Giardini del Campo di Marte in Florence, Italy. I just kept the backstage secret, just to avoid the unpleasant attentions of the so-called “education manager” of a not too renowned chess establishment operating near here. Pictured above are two old (but young) Philippino friends – who ardently root for their countryboy Wesley So – playing with a girl who I tried to persuade to quit chess for involving instead in study of dance. Alas, yet in vain.
