You’ll Never Believe What They Told Me

Apparently, the news is that FIDE President Kirsan Nikolayevich Ilyumzhinov is always the President of FIDE, at least until next elections in 2018. Due to the U.S. Treasury sanctions preventing him from operating financial activities on American soil (as well as on other NATO countries), when necessary, he will continue delegating responsibility and authority to a deputy representative of FIDE.
