Apparently Diving Queen 吴敏霞 (Wú Mǐnxiá) as well as the 上海 (Shànghǎi) delegation survived the presidential longest speech marathon on the first day of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. On the other hand, we may reasonably guess that she didn’t lose a single word of today’s press conference given by the Vice Minister of the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television 张宏森 (Zhāng Hóngsēn), who, in saying that “The rapid development of the film industry has been a big bright spot for China’s culture industry”, also assured that the Communist Party of China will fiercely support Hollywood-style films that portray China as the rejuvenated superpower envisioned in 习近平 (Xí Jìnpíng)’s oration.
