A woman won in a man’s world

Pictured above is 於之莹 (Yú Zhīyíng), still a student at the 上海财经大学 (Shànghǎi University of Finance and Economics), as well as a Go professional and the highest ranked Chinese female player who, after winning the 1st Senko Cup World Go Women’s Championship in Tokyo, Japan (14–16 March 2018), successfully began a new career competing and challenging with men, too. “Perhaps the most important thing is not whether you win or lose, but rather whether you are up yourself. Even if AI is unbeatable, you can always challenge your own limitations”, she said. Photos: 邢铁军 (Xíng Tiějūn).
