陰陽 (Yīn and Yáng)

Officials who investigated Chinese movie star 范冰冰 (Fàn Bīngbīng) for tax evasion have been held accountable for “ineffective management” by 江苏 (Jiāngsū) Provincial Tax Service of State Administration of Taxation (SAT), 新华社 (Xīnhuá News Agency) reported on Monday, October 8, 2018.
At least five people will be disciplined, including the head of the 无锡 (Wúxī) Municipal Office of State Administration of Taxation in 无锡 (Wúxī), southern 江苏省 (Jiāngsū) province, China where 范冰冰 (Fàn Bīngbīng)’s company is based.
Last June, 范冰冰 (Fàn Bīngbīng) was accused of signing two contracts, known as “white-black contracts”, one of which is public and fiscally binding, and the other is kept off the record. She was ordered to pay ¥884,000,000 million 元 (yuán) in back taxes and fines, following the probe conducted by 江苏 (Jiāngsū) Provincial Tax Service of State Administration of Taxation.
