Between Two Masters

In an audio recording leaked by Reuters, 香港 (Hong Kong)’s Chief Executive 林鄭月娥 (Carrie Lam) told a group of businesspeople in a closed-door meeting last week that she would quit if she had “a choice”, but that for now she is squeezed between “two masters by constitution” in a situation wherein she has almost no autonomy.
