Carlsen humbly admits that “Chess societies have not been very kind to women and girls over the years. Certainly there needs to be a bit of a change in culture”. Of course many questions followed. It seems only one question wasn’t asked — so just don’t ask why no woman was invited to play in the invitational Skilling Open. |
