The 9th Chess World Cup and the 1st Women’s Chess World Cup have started today in Krasnaya Polyana, Russia, featuring none other than World Champion Magnus Carlsen and world No. 2 Fabiano Caruana, who yet are eagerly waiting to enter the coliseum. But an even more exciting show was aired from the studios of chess.com, with four-time Women’s World Chess Champion 侯逸凡 (Hóu Yìfán) “zoomed in” on centre screen amidst Daniel Naroditsky and Veselin Aleksandrov Topalov, doing live commentary.
