Florence’s artisanal ice cream parlor Baroncini, dating back to 1946, undoubtedly owes its success to its high quality standards, and, since a few weeks ago, also to its democratic identity, as it distinguished itself by its refusal to discriminate its customers just because they have no “green pass”, that is the vaccine certificate required by law in order to accede to public and private social services. Unfailingly they have already been fined two times by municipal police, but they also got countless tokens of esteem and solidarity urbi et orbi. Photo: Mado Flynn. |
