On Monday, December 4, 2023, the Commendation Conference for Sports Team Excellence was held at Peking University Khoo Teck Puat Gymnasium. Four-time Women’s World Chess Champion 侯逸凡 (Hóu Yìfán), pictured above, was given a Special Contribution Award for her outstanding achievements as both a chess ace and an University Professor (she holds a professorship at Peking University).
