The lessons of WWII should be remembered so as to minimize the number of military conflicts in the world, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
“You have just said that we are bonded by strategic relations and, as we say, a comprehensive partnership. But it is also important how we look at historical problems”, Putin said at a meeting with Chinese President Xí Jìnpíng.
The peoples of Russia and China should not forget “how cruelly the invaders behaved on the temporarily occupied territories and what countless victims this led to”, Putin said. [Read more].
