Russia has very narrowly won the 10th edition ot the Friendship Match against China (25½ – 24½), held in Moscow, Russia, from 11 to 15 June 2016. In the end it was thanks to women that Russia won. The men, in fact, only drew their match (12½–12½), while the Russian girls defeated the Chinese (13–12), in spite of the strong performance of 沈阳 (Shěn Yáng).
