Sesto Fiorentino Mayor Lorenzo Falchi intervened on the incinerator issue. “Dr. Giorgio Moretti is right when he says he’s not the president of a private company, who can do what he wants most to do”, Mayor Falchi says. “He’s president – in his own words – of a company with public shareholders and his duty is to respect the shareholders will. Well, there are at least two shareholders, the Municipality of Sesto Fiorentino and the Municipality of Campi Bisenzio, which, supporting the appeal to the TAR against the incinerator, are asking his company to take a step back”.
