Interviewed by Izvestia, Russian Grandmaster Ian Aleksandrovich Nepomniachtchi said: “China’s 侯逸凡 (Hóu Yìfán) is a very strong player. Previously it was easier to play against her, but I was only able to win one of my last three games with her, drawing the other two. Should she have been excluded from the Moscow Grand Prix? No, I would not have done that”.
