Social solidarity in the time of COVID-19 is not only an ethical responsibility of charitable institutions, but often it is also a spontaneous initiative by citizens and families, who fill boxes with food which will be left on the doorstep for those in need. People are free to go to the boxes at any time of day or night. The sign reads “Give what you can. Take what you need”.
