Ballet legend Carla Fracci, dubbed the “Queen of Italian Dance”, has died after a long illness on May 27, 2021, at 84. Étoile of Milan’s La Scala Theatre Ballet, she also worked with the Royal Ballet and the American Ballet Theatre, among many other companies, and her dance partners included Rudolf Khametovich Nureyev and Mikhail Nikolayevich Baryshnikov. |
