New rules, new entries, and new host countries for the Women’s Grand Prix. For untold reasons, FIDE has had to change its programs and start all over again. So, the third stage of the Women’s Grand Prix starts in Batumi, Georgia, on April 19. The other two will follow, to complete the series, from 1 to 15 July in 成都 (Chéngdū), China, and at Khanty-Mansiysk. Russia, in November. The FIDE boarding counted important defections to the new party, beginning with the Women’s World Champion 侯逸凡 (Hóu Yìfán), who is asking – still in vain – to equate men’s and women’s World Chess Championship systems.
Here are – in alphabetical order – the partipants who’s gonna play the third stage of Women’s Grand Prix: Nino Batsiashvili, Elina Danielian, Harika Dronavalli, Nana Dzagnidze, Valentina Yevgenyevna Gunina, Olga Alexandrovna Girya, Lela Javakhishvili, Alexandra Konstantinovna Kosteniuk, Bela Khotenashvili, Anna Muzychuk, Mariya Muzychuk, 赵雪 (Zhào Xuě).
