FIDE President Kirsan Nikolayevich Ilyumzhinov, after cancelling the extraordinary Presidential Board meeting called for Monday, April 10, 2017 by his political opponents, has published today on his website the “Manifesto” of the newly constituted charitable foundation “Kirsan Fund”, whose main goal is to universalise and promote chess everywhere. An oft-cited motto typifies the spirit of the new organization: “The sky is NOT the limit”. While on earth — curiously enough — “Kirsan Fund” elected its registered office in Washington, D.C., United States. The document is signed by the President and CEO of the foundation, Mr. Glen Stark.
