2017 China’s Top Ten Laureus World Sports Awards Ceremony was held in 北京 (Běijīng), China on the evening of December 20, 2017. 16th Women’s World Chess Champion 谭中怡 (Tán Zhōngyí) was also in the polls, but in the end the coveted “Best non-Olympic Athlete Award” was awarded – for the second consecutive year – to Go superstar 柯洁 (Kē Jié).
