The shooting began at 1 A.M. local time in Dayton’s Oregon District, a downtown historic neighborhood popular for its nightclubs, restaurants, art galleries, and shops. Less than 13 hours earlier, another mass shooting left 20 dead at a Walmart store in El Paso, Texas, United States.
