FIDE President Kirsan Nikolayevich Ilyumzhinov, in spite of being blacklisted by the U.S. Treasury Department, and although the betrayal of his closest co-workers in FIDE, announces his having been able to set up a charitable foundation in the United States (“Kirsan Fund”), and that he’s planning to set up two more ones in Brussels, Belgium and Seoul, South Korea. He will invest $10 million dollars in each of the three foundations, in order to make chess (all over the world) great as ever before. With or without FIDE. |
