The Importance of Not Being Arcovazzi

Today is Wednesday, April 25, 2018, a holy day which marks the 73rd Anniversary of Italy’s Liberation Day from nazi-fascism. All over the country there will be solemn ceremonies and colourful mass parades for paying homage to those who lost their lives in the liberation war.
The Orchestra Regionale Toscana (ORT) Foundation will celebrate the anniversary with a free concert entitled “Peace and Love | Dreaming a better world” performing Gian Francesco Malipiero’s and Ludwig van Beethoven’s music coupled with readings from Pier Paolo Pasolini, Elsa Morante, Robert Francis Kennedy, Martin Luther King at the Teatro Verdi in Florence, starting at 21,00. Free entrance until the seats are exhausted.
