The Cayman people are looking forward with great enthusiasm to four-time Women’s World Chess Champion 侯逸凡 (Hóu Yìfán)’s visit to the Cayman Islands on 16–20 June 2018, to expressly support the Cayman Chess Club’s Chess in Schools programme.
On Monday, June 18 15,30 at the GT Public Library in George Town 侯逸凡 (Hóu Yìfán) will take on 30 young players simultaneously in the Second Grandmaster Junior Challenge fundraiser. Likewise, on Tuesday, June 19 17,30 at Venue TBC she will take on 30 players simultaneously in the Second Grandmaster Corporate Challenge fundraiser. Event sponsors, including Ogier, BDO, and Dart Minds Inspired will enter challengers to take on the Women’s Champion at a venue to be announced. |
