Yesterday was April 1, and the awarding ceremony of the U.S. Open and Women’s Chess Championships was held at the Chase Park Plaza Hotel in Saint Louis, Missouri, United States. Hikaru Nakamura celebrated his fifth title — just one less than Walter Browne — but the limelight was all on 于润荷 (Jennifer Yú) (pictured above), who won the Women’s title for the first time with a formidable score of 10/11!
