Ad Age magazine said that world No. 2 Fabiano Caruana will be sponsored and aided by Intel — the historic sponsor of the now defunct Professional Chess Association (PCA) in the 1990s — through the upcoming second half of the Candidates Tournament and the eventual World Chess Championship match. Furthermore, the same source says, “Caruana also just signed a deal with an undisclosed company for a new brand campaign soon to be revealed”.
