Four-time Women’s World Chess Champion, Rhodes Scholar and Full University Professor 侯逸凡 (Hóu Yìfán) thus began, on the evening of Thursday, December 2, 2021, her online lecture for the benefit of two groups of students and teachers from both the 新疆财经大学 (Xīnjiāng University of Finance and Economics) and the 伊合巴国际象棋俱乐部 (Yīhébā Chess Club) in 乌鲁木齐市 (Ürümqi), 新疆维吾尔自治区 (Xīnjiāng Uygur Autonomous Region), China.
