The die is cast, the stage is set: the Women’s Candidates final match (the best of 6 games) between 雷挺婕 (Léi Tǐngjié) and 谭中怡 (Tán Zhōngyí) will take place in 重庆 (Chóngqìng) — the birth-city of them both — from March 27 to April 6, while the 12-game Women’s World Chess Championship match will be held in 重庆 (Chóngqìng) and 上海 (Shànghǎi) — the birth-cities of any challenger and Women’s World Champion 居文君 (Jū Wénjūn) respectively — from July 5–25, switching cities halfway.
