Three Peking University alumni (of whom two were Women’s World Chess Champions), namely 侯逸凡 (Hóu Yìfán), 许昱华 (Xǔ Yùhuá), and 赵雪 (Zhào Xuě), presided over a college invitational tournament held on Sunday, November 10, 2024, in the Room No. 238 of Peking University 邱德拔体育馆 (Khoo Teck Puat Gymnasium) in 北京 (Běijīng), China, as one of the highlights of the 21st PKU International Culture Festival. In her capacity as Professor in the PKU Physical Education and Research Department, four-time Women’s World Chess Champion 侯逸凡 (Hóu Yìfán) also took care of most organisational matters.
