In this delicately balanced position White surprised Black with the unexpected 59. Qa6!! quickly turning the tables in his favour.
59. ... Rg8. If now 59. ... Bxf6 60. Qxf6 Rg8 61. Qe7+ Kh6 and 62. Bc1+.
60. Qb7! 1–0. The end could be: 60. Qb7! Rg7 61. Rg6! Rf7 62. Qxd5 Qxf5 63. Rg7+.
