The highly awarded British filmmaker Ken Loach has revealed he has been expelled from the Labour Party on the ground that he showed no willingness to “disown those already expelled”. Inevitably a deluge of criticism by the Party base flooded the media. “I am proud to stand with the good friends and comrades victimised by the purge. There is indeed a witch hunt”, Loach said. “Starmer and his clique will never lead a party of the people. We are many, they are few. Solidarity”. |
