Virtually International

On March 1, 2023 the International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced details of the first-ever Olympic Esports Series 2023. So far, the featured games across nine sports are (in alphabetical order): archery, baseball, chess, cycling, dance, motor sport, sailing, taekwondo and tennis. Hence, through dedicated online platforms, both pros and amateurs from all the world can qualify to play in the Olympic Esports Finals 2023, which will be celebrated in-person at Singapore’s Suntec Convention and Exhibition Centre from June 22–25, 2023. One Hour To Midnight

Chinese government issued new stringent measures banning under-18s from playing online video games during the school week.
