Women’s World Chess Champion 侯逸凡 (Hóu Yìfán) celebrated her 18th birthday at the 北京 (Běijīng Blood Centre making a voluntary unpaid blood donation and serving as a donor of bone marrow. “I always wanted to donate blood, because it is a direct way to help others, but since I was under 18, I couldn’t donate it.
