And even today, thousands of demonstrators in 香港 (Hong Kong) gathered in 大嶼山 (Lantau Island) to lay siege to 香港國際機場 (Hong Kong International Airport) so as to draw international attention to their protest campaign, which is by now escalating into a frontal conflict with the semi-autonomous HKSAR Government.
