On the morning of June 3, 2023, four-time Women’s World Chess Champion 侯逸凡 (Hóu Yìfán), along with other officials and fellow colleagues, attended the opening ceremony of the 2023 Greater Bay Area Intercollegiate Team Chess Championship, which was held in the premises of 深圳北理莫斯科大学 (Shēnzhèn MSU-BIT University) in 龙岗区 (Lónggǎng District), 深圳 (Shēnzhèn), 广东省 (Guǎngdōng province), China, with a joint simultaneous exhibition concluding the ceremonies.
