His series, The Prophecy, focuses on environmental devastation in Senegal, with 10 images featuring models dressed in eerie debris costumes crafted by Senalgese fashion designer Jah Gal/Doulsy, will be on show at Photo Basel 2017 until 18 June. Aelita: Queen of Mars
Aelita (Аэли́та) is a silent science-fiction film directed by Soviet filmmaker Yakov Alexandrovich Protazanov made at the Mezhrabpom-Rus’ film studio and released in 1924. It was based on Aleksey Nikolayevich Tolstoy’s novel of the same name. The costumes were made by the artist Aleksandra Aleksandrovna Ekster.
