Today I paid a visit to an old friend of the Associazione Culturale “Il Delta della Luna”. The office in which she works is just about 20 kilometres north-west of Florence, and hence the opportunities to meet are quite rare. One of Mado Flynn’s opticals is dangled like a hypnotist’s bauble shining brightly on the door so as to give the illusion that time hasn’t passed by. It was another summer dream and a glorious day: one has only to don a face mask and pass through the looking-glass into a class of dance.
