FIDE has published the list of the twelve participants in the first leg of the new Grand Prix series 2015-2016 which will be held from 2 to 16 October 2015, in Monte Carlo, Monaco. The current Women’s World Chess Champion, Maria Muzychuk, as well as women’s world number 1 and three-times Women’s World Champion 侯逸凡 (Hóu Yìfán), and former Women’s World Chess Champions Alexandra Konstantinovna Kosteniuk and Antoaneta Stefanova will be on stage.
