When Evgeny Anatolyevich Surov was told that this girl was named Alina Kirsanovna Ilyumzhinova, he couldn’t believe his ears. He finally found the courage to ask her about it, and yes, she was just Alina Kirsanovna Ilyumzhinova, FIDE President Kirsan Nikolayevich Ilyumzhinov’s daughter. “Just after she told me who she was, however”, says Surov, “the information itself was not so important anymore.
