The 17th Poikovsky Tournament in honour of 12th World Chess Champion Anatoly Yevgenyevich Karpov takes place from July 23 to August 2 in Poikovsky, Russia. The tournament is a 10-player single round robin with the following lineup: Dmitry Vladimirovich Andreikin, Radosław Wojtaszek, Dmitry Olegovich Jakovenko, Maxim Sergeevich Matlakov, Ilya Yulievich Smirin, Igor Viktorovich Kovalenko, Alexander Anatolyevich Motylev, Anton Sergeyevich Korobov, Viorel Antonovich Bologan, and Emil Davidovich Sutovsky.
