最长的一码 (The Longest Yard)

In celebration of the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Red Army’s Long March, 上海 (Shànghăi) Media Group (SMG) jointly with the 延安 (Yán’ān) Municipal Party Committee Propaganda Department, after careful rehearsals, is staging for a massive gala party at 延安 (Yán’ān) University in 延安 (Yán’ān), 陕西省 (Shǎnxī province). The performance show will be broadcasted on October 22, 2016 (and then repeatedly replied) by SMG’s network of dedicated channels. 延安 (Yán’ān) is in fact the birthplace of the Chinese Communist Revolution and is geographically near the endpoint of the Long March. The choice of the 延安 (Yán’ān) University, which is the first comprehensive university established by the Communist Party of China (CPC) and is situated in the revolutionary holy place, has a special meaning: not only the Long March is an epic of youth and energy, but every youth generation must undertake its own Long March. It is just the case of Olympic Goddess 吴敏霞 (Wú Mǐnxiá), who also made her appearance as the most decorated diver in history. “Each medal is a Long March”, she proudly said.
