The scene is a garden in Buenos Aires, Argentina and the man who stopped to smell the roses is Robert James “Bobby” Fischer, one of the Chess Kings immortalised by Benson and featured in the photo exhibit Harry Benson: Kings & Queens, which went on display at the World Chess Hall of Fame (WCHOF) in Saint Louis, Missouri, United States from October 5, 2018 to April 14, 2019.
