With only two games left until the end of the first half of the Women’s World Chess Championship match between 居文君 (Jū Wénjūn) and Aleksandra Yuryevna Goryachkina, which is being held in 上海 (Shànghǎi), China, and suddenly awakened by yesterday’s victory of the Women’s World Champion, it was inevitable that the Russian Bear would have authoritatively entered the scene. And thus, the Governor of Primorsky Krai, Oleg Nikolayevich Kozhemyako, chaired an organisational meeting Friday, January 10, 2020 in Vladivostok, Russia in order to take care of all details concerning the staging of the second half of the match, which will take place at the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) on Russky Island, in the Vladivostok municipal district of the Maritime Region from January 15–25.
