The 2nd “智圣” (“Zhìshèng”) Mind Sports Games will kick off Saturday, October 16, 2021 in 杭州 (Hángzhōu), 浙江省 (Zhèjiāng province), China, featuring 16 disciplines — namely in alphabetical order: Backgammon, Bridge, Chess, Draughts, Go, Gomoku, 陸戰棋 (Lùzhànqí), 麻将 (Májiàng), Memory, Modeling, Poker, Programming, Radio direction finding, Rubik’s Cube, Sudoku, 象棋 (Xiàngqí). Now the main aim of the organising 中国棋院杭州分院 (Hángzhōu Branch of China Qí-Yuàn) is to attract a youth audience from all over the country through involving celebrities such as four-time Women’s World Chess Champion 侯逸凡 (Hóu Yìfán) (pictured above with glasses), who along with 白金石 (Bái Jīnshí), 丁立人 (Dīng Lìrén), 居文君 (Jū Wénjūn), 倪华 (Ní Huá), 宁凯玉 (Níng Kǎiyù), 许翔宇 (Xǔ Xiángyǔ), and 颜天琪 (Yán Tiānqí), will be starring as Quintessential Queen in the Chess Star Double Invitational Tournament.
